Pakistan's army chief, Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani, has suggested that India and Pakistan should withdraw troops from the contested Siachen glacier. Pakistan has had this blow hot blow cold relationship with India, where in its leaders have found India a monster and a friend by turns.
