Hazare opposes auction of Gandhi's belongings - NewsX

Social activist Anna Hazare is reported to be backing the efforts of an NGO to to stop the auction of Gandhiji's belongings in UK. Notable authors have written to the President and the Prime minister on the issue. A blade of grass with a drop of Gandhiji's blood and soil from the place where he was assassinated in 1948 are set to go under the hammer. Also going are a pair of steel-rimmed spectacles and letters written by the Mahatma and a charkha.
