asaram sex scandal: India News : A local court on Friday denied special facilities to self styled godman Asaram, lodged in Jodhpur central jail for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl. The court however, directed the jail authorities to provide him some medicated food only on the medical prescription, though according to the jail manuals. District and Session Judge (Jodhpur district) Manoj Kumar Vyas while deciding the application moved by Asaram said, that if a doctor prescribes any medicated food to him, it should be prepared only in jail kitchen. This means Asaram will not get food served by some outsiders. The court has allowed the jail authorities to purchase the material from outside if doctors prescribe it. "This court rejects the remaining prayers mentioned in the application," the judge said adding that Asaram could avail of clothes and bedding only according to the provisions of the jail manual.
