Mamata Banerjee has her way again. Facing the CM's ire over Kolkata rape case, Joint Commissioner of Police Damayanti Sen has been transferred out of Kolkata to a nondescript police training school. She has been the investigating officer in the Park Street rape case which West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee described as a fabricated incident to malign her govt. Damayanti Sen played a pro-active role in cracking the Park Street rape case and had been backing the victim's charge all through.
