Young turks for change seems to have become the mantra for both the Congress and the BJP in the ensuing civic polls in the capital. The youngest candidate in the fray is 22 years old. But will youth power live up to its expectations of serving as an engine for change against red-tapism, corruption and shoddy work or get lost in the existing system that had failed to deliver. However, with about 33 per cent of the voters being under the age of 35 years fielding young candidates is being dubbed by many as a mere ploy to woo young voters to their fold.
