The Patiala house court in the capital is expected to take up the defamation case filed by former Chief of Defence Intelligence, Lt Gen Tejinder Singh against the Army Chief. Lt Gen Tejinder Singh has denied offering of bribes to Army Chief. He said that the matter is sub judice, so it's not appropriate for him to say anything on it. In the suit Gen Tejinder Singh had also named four others high ranking officers of the army, saying that media reports about his involvement in scams was a deliberate and motivated ploy to tarnish his image.
