India News : Asaram Bapu's hide-and-seek game

Self-styled godman Asaram Bapu may face arrest after he shied away from presenting himself before the Jodhpur police on Friday for questioning in a sexual assault case. The godman played a deft hide-and-seek game throughout the day, prompting the Rajasthan police to act tough. At least two police teams from Jodhpur were despatched to Madhya Pradesh late on Friday to arrest the godman, police said.
As the clock ticked for Asaram Bapu to surrender, the embattled godman who dug his heels in his Bhopal ashram till late Friday evening, went underground after a dramatic dash to the airport where he missed the evening flight to Delhi. Later, he suddenly surfaced in his highly fortified ashram in Indore.
