Asaram Bapu's supporters attack India News reporters in Jodhpur

India News : New Delhi: A journalist and a camera person were attacked by Asaram Bapu's supporters in Jodhpur on Saturday. The self-styled godman has been accused by a 16-year-old girl of sexually assaulting her at his ashram in Rajasthan's Jodhpur city.
Both mediapersons were bleeding after being beaten by the followers; however, they suffered minor injuries. One of the victims said that Asaram's supporters were present in large numbers when they were attacked while reporting outside the ashram.
The camera was broken and OB van was also damaged.
Strangely, there were no police personnel outside the ashram. The villagers staying in the vicinity of the self-styled godman's ashram rescued both the mediapersons.
