After outrage over the suspension of Uttar Pradesh IAS official Durga Shakti Nagpal, the state government has reportedly decided to revoke its decision but has instead transferred another official, whom it has laid the blame on for the demolition of a mosque wall.
The blame for the demolition of the contentious mosque wall in Kadalpur village has now been laid on Noida District Magistrate Ravikant Singh, and he has been blamed for presenting a lopsided view of the situation. The report sent by Singh is being blamed for Nagpal going to the village and seeking the demolishing of the wall.
