Tonight with Deepak Chaurasia: BAAP questions sources of AAP funds
  • 5 years ago
Just eight months old, and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has already fathered a splinter group. The group has named itself the Bharatiya Aam Aadmi Parivar (BAAP).Formed after some members of AAP questioned the process of ticket distribution, BAAP held its first rally on Sunday.

The faction has rejected the party's process of distributing tickets, saying it lacked transparency. These disgruntled members have alleged that only senior members of the party are being given tickets, that too blindly. BAAP members said they had earlier written a letter to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, highlighting the problems in the ticket distribution process but he did not respond.
