After months of pushing for a stronger lokpal Bill, Anna Hazare sprung a surprise on Monday. The anti-graft activist appeared to be extending the deadline for the passage of a strong Lokpal Bill to the next general election in 2014. He now threatens to return to Ramlila Maidan if that does not happen. He said he will begin his countrywide tour after two months to campaign for an "effective" Lokpal Bill.
