Students registered protest at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences against the suicide by a first-year student of Scheduled Tribe. Students allege that humiliation by his AIIMS teachers forced 22 year old Anil Kumar Meena to commit suicide. After he failed in the first year exams, friends and family members claim that Anil, the son of a farmer in Rajasthan, allegedly faced discrimination at the institute due to his rural background and Hindi-medium education.
