A Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances court in Mumbai is to give its verdict in a case of cocaine possession involving actor Fardeen Khan. The case dates back to 2001, when Khan was arrested along with two peddlers for possessing the contraband. In December last year, Khan applied for exemption from trial, claiming that he was undergoing a de-addiction therapy. The prosecution had said that it had no objection to exemption post the treatment. Khan had pleaded not guilty to the charges, and said the small amount of cocaine in his possession was for his personal consumption.
