The people are set to celebrate the last Monday of Shrawan on August 19. Special security arrangements have been made at various Shiv temples. Rudraabhishek and 'bhandara' would be held to mark the occasion.
Shrawan (fifth month of Hindu calendar year) is considered as most pious month. The Mondays hold special significance as the day is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The first and last Mondays are auspicious.
