Fake encounter case: SC pulls up Gujarat government- NewsX

SC expresses some displeasure over Gujarat government appointing (retd) Justice K R Vyas to inquire into 22 alleged fake encounters in Gujarat without keeping SC bench in the loop since the appointment was related to their order. SC had initially asked Justice MB Shah to hold inquiry but he had refused. So Gujarat government appointed Justice Vyas without consulting SC. Supreme Court to Gujarat government: You have unnecessarily complicated the matter.
