Important day for the political parties in Maharashtra as civic poll results will be declared today. Counting for ten municipal corporations in the state is underway and results will be known post noon. It's to be seen whether Congress-NCP combine will be able to sweep the BMC away from the 16year old rule of ShivSena and BJP. Congress and NCP are contesting together for the first time in the civic polls. Some expect MNS to emerge the dark horse in deciding the winner. Average turnout for all ten corporations was 54percent but only 46 percent came out to vote in Mumbai.
