India vs Pakistan army: Dastardly ambush by Pakistan in the Chakan da Bagh area of Poonch

Pakistan troops fired on the Indian posts in Nangitikri forward area along LoC in Poonch district around 1630 hours yesterday, after heavy overnight firing in Krishnaghati sub-sector in Poonch, an Army officer had said.Pakistani posts opposite Nangitikri targeted the Indian side last evening and Indian troops guarding the borderline had retaliated, he had said.

The exchange continued for a brief period before coming to a halt, he had said, adding there was no loss of life or injury to anyone on the Indian side.

Meanwhile in Islamabad, the Pakistan Army said it had lodged a strong protest with Indian military authorities about "continuous ceasefire violations" along the Line of Control in Kashmir and claimed its troops had not killed any Indian soldiers.
The protest was lodged during a flag meeting between brigadier-rank officers at Chakan da Bagh in Poonch sector of the LoC, said a statement from the Pakistan military's media arm.
