BV Acharya resigns ; had pressure from government

Protests in Karnataka, led by Congress have erupted again, with demands for the BJP government to go. Protests gained strength after 6 time state Advocate General, BV Acharya resigned from his post, claiming there was pressure on him from the government to quit as the special public prosecutor in the wealth case against Tamil Nadu Chief minister, J Jayalalithaa.
