Threat to Salman Rushdie was shared with Rajasthan police: Sources

IB sources have told NewsX that intelligence inputs about threats to Salman Rushdie was shared with Rajasthan police and Home Department more than once. Rushdie who on Friday had tweeted that he would stay away from the Jaipur fest because of security reasons, says this was a plot to deter him from attending the Jaipur Literature Festival. Rushdie now tweets that he is outraged and very angry.
