India News: Senior Gujarat IPS officer PP Pandey, an absconder in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case, has surrendered in trial court today.
Earlier, he has been hospitalised after complaining of chest pain. Pandey was admitted in Chandramani Hospital at Shahibaug area of the city after he complained of chest pains, sources said.
Dr Rupkumar Agrawal of Chandramani Hospital said that Pandey got admitted on Monday morning. Pandey, who had been absconding, had been directed by the Supreme Court to appear before the trial court.
