Lokpal fiasco: Advani questions PM's silence

Senior BJP leader L K Advani has once again trained his guns on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, evoking memories of the election campaign of 2009. Referring to the Lokpal fiasco in the Rajya Sabha, Advani alleged that Manmohan Singh had chosen "conspiratorial silence and acquiescence" while the government ran away from a vote on the Bill. He said that the Prime Minister had full knowledge of what transpired in the Rajya Sabha that night.
