Kumble, Gavaskar hit out at BCCI's U-turn over contract

Soon after Anil Kumble lashed out at the BCCI for being averse to the long-term good of Indian cricket, Sunil Gavaskar has lashed out at the board saying the board has made a u-turn on his contract. Gavaskar's demand for Rs 5 crore per season for media and governing council-related activities involving the IPL was turned down by the board's working committee. The former opener claimed that he was assured by former BCCI president Sharad Pawar and Arun Jaitley that his dues would be cleared.
