The Parliamentary committee examining the Lokpal Bill has sought one more week to submit its report. Previously, it had been decided that the final draft would be submitted on 7th December. Now the committee wants to hold another meeting to finalize the report before it is presented to Parliament. Members will get an opportunity to give their dissent notes in the planned meeting. BJP members are opposing the exclusion of Group C public servants from the ambit of Lokpal.
