A Punjab police official while talking to a news channel has alleged that his life was in threat at the hands of his senior and demanded security from the authorities.
The SI claimed before media that he had killed 83 innocent 'Sikhs' during early 1990s.
Singh who was deployed as a constable in 1990 after he completed his training revealed before media how he was asked by senior police officers to kill a Sikh youth who was in police custody. He was soon promoted to the rank of SHO police station Mehta for obediently complying with the orders.
While speaking in Punjabi, the SI said, "I was a constable, promoted to SHO. What was the reason?"
He disclosed how the top notch cops directed him to carry out fake encounters and he was rewarded with promotions.
