Tremors have felt right across the breadth of North India at 6.10 PM. Preliminary reports have suggested a major quake measuring as much as 6.8 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the Earthquake was somewhere near the Sikkim -Nepal border. The quake shook buildings in Delhi and was also felt in Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow and Varanasi.
