Kalmadi sends petition to attend Parliament

Former Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee Chief wants to be able to attend the Lok Sabha even from Tihar Jail. And his petition to this effect comes up in the Delhi High Court. The court will examine if an MP arrested in a criminal case can attend the House. Kalmadi's petition has already been rejected once with the judge saying it was only "an attempt to get fresh air outside the prison".
