Lt Navdeep Singh dies fighting militants in J&K

The Army has lost a key officer during the gun battle in J&K which has now entered the third day. Lieutenant Navdeep Singh of Gurdaspur lost his life in Gurez sector of Bandipora district in Kashmir Valley. 26 year old officer, Lt Navdeep Singh after doing his MBA, was commissioned in March into the Army Ordinance Corps and was serving in the 15th Battalion of the Maratha Light Infantry.
