Adarsh housing scam report tabled in Parliament

CAG report on Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society scam has been tabled in Lok Sabha and has also been tabled in Rajya Sabha. The report has named two army chiefs General Deepak Kapor and Maharashtra Principal Secretary NC Vij. In the report, the government auditor also targeted the Union Environment Ministry and the Maharashtra Urban Development Ministry saying indications were there that procedures were skirted to enable grant of No-Objection Certificate (NOC) to the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society (ACHS) in Mumbai.
