Breaking News: Police raid Dance Bar in Mumbai, find Rs 1.6 cr cash

India News: The Thane police recovered Rs 1.15 crore in cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 45 lakh following a raid on a 'dance bar' and an adjoining lodge in Panvel, from where they rescued 31 minor girls who were forced into prostitution, on Thursday night.

The police have arrested the bar manager and owner and registered a case under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA). The bar and lodge are owned by the same person, the police said, and added that in all 89 women were rescued.
