Deepak Bhardwaj Murder: Son Killed his Father

India News: The brazen daylight shooting of Deepak Bhardwaj, the richest candidate of the 2009 general elections, left Delhi horrified and the nation aghast on Holi-eve.

The 62-year-old real estate developer and once BSP candidate for the West Delhi seat in the Lok Sabha was shot once each in the chest and back of the head by two men deep inside his 35-acre farmhouse-resort in South Delhi's Rajokri area on Tuesday.

From entering the resort-cum-farm house - The Nitesh Kunj, not far from the turnoff to the international airport on National Highway 8-to forcing their way out at the point of a gun, Bhardwaj's assailants took all of 19 minutes to do their gruesome deed.
