India News: Swami Pratibhanand had planned to flee the country following the murder of BSP leader Deepak Bhardwaj. He had applied for a passport six months ago in Novemberâ€"around the time the conspiracy was hatched.


Police have recovered a passport verification form during a raid at his ashram in Hardwar, a source said. They have also scanned three of his bank accounts and found very little money in them which indicates he mostly transacted through hawala channels. Police are also trying to trace an account he may have opened 10 days ago.
