When asked about Women Reservation Bill, he said that it is unfortunate that despite having a woman Governor, the Women Reservation Bill is still pending in the assembly.

Even now women work in the agricultural sector. If we give them the most basic technical training it will make an immense difference because women work with far more precision. We started the 'Wadi project' in an area where monthly incomes were Rs.15,000. Training the women shot those incomes by almost 8 times. They made unfertile lands productive and handled everything from sowing to packaging the products.
