A man has committed suicide by jumping on the tracks at the busy Uttam Nagar metro station in West Delhi this morning. He was reportedly depressed of his illness and thus, he wanted to end his life to escape the suffering. The driver pulled the brakes but the man was over-run by the speeding metro before anything could be done. Operations halted for about an hour and then the body was pulled out and sent to police
