Twenty years on, there is fresh controversy over the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. Former Mumbai Police chief MN Singh has claimed that the then union home minister SC Chavan did not give permission for a police team to go to Dubai and get Dawood Ibrahim before he got refuge in Pakistan.
