In a surprise move, the 23- year-old gangrape survivor has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. Doctors in Singapore battle to save the victim as her condition is said to be extremely critical. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who addressed at the National Development Council meet also took up the issue of rape and how the Government was committed in protecting women.
