The 47-year-old Delhi Police Constable Subhash Tomar suffered a cardiac arrest when the protests against Delhi's bus gang-rape turned violent at India Gate on Sunday. Tomar died on Tuesday morning at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and was given a state funeral. The police commissioner Neeraj Kumar himself lead the mourners as a pall-bearer.
