The world's best-known exponent of Indian music dies

Pandit Ravi Shankar had an incredible 80 year long career as a Sitarist. Incredibly, his last concert was just last month. Panditji had his own style of playing the Sitar. He also took the Sitar - and Hindustani classical music - to the West. This started through his close associations with the Beatles and the great Violinist, Yehudi Menuhin.
