Saurabh and his colleagues were tortured continuously for 22 days before they were killed. On June 9th the bodies were handed to the Indian authorities. They bore signs of being burnt by cigarettes, ears pierced with hot rods, eyes removed, and most of the bones and teeth broken besides being subjected to many other physical and mental tortures
