Pakistan’s Imran Khan warns of nuclear war with India

Imran Khan, prime minister of Pakistan, said in a televised broadcast that they had no plans to inflict casualties, and that shooting down two Indian jets was only a show of military capability. He warned of the possibility of a nuclear war with India as tension escalates.
India responded in a statement that described Pakistan’s attacks as an “unprovoked act of aggression” and strongly insisted on the release of an Indian pilot captured by the Pakistani military.
