As I was unable to get out for the planned trotting session over the weekend, Monday late afternoon saw me back on the banks of the small Avon tributary I have been enjoying fishing so much of late.

With the sun blazing during this record-breaking period of warm weather in February I knew things would be tough going but persistence paid-off but the chub did make me work for my rewards.
