Bloom proposed to Perry. While on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' Perry explained
how Bloom popped the question on their
Valentine's Day date. He surprised the singer with a
private helicopter ride over Los Angeles. Once in the air, Bloom gave her
a note detailing his love for her. While she was reading it, he tried pulling
an engagement ring box out of his pocket. The box was too big, and Bloom
ended up ripping his jacket and
smashing a bottle of champagne
with his elbow. After popping the question, the pair landed
on a rooftop where all of Perry’s family and
