An inspirational ex-serviceman who lost three limbs in a bomb blast in Afghanistan says he has found a new purpose in life - working in a factory for veterans. Brave Gary Jamieson, 38, lost both his legs above the knee and his left arm above the elbow while on tour with the 1st Battalion Scots Guards in 2010. The serviceman thought he was going to die due to the catastrophic injuries he suffered in the blast, when he stepped on an IED [improvised explosive device]. But the dad-of-three has not let his disability put him down and has now landed himself a job with Scotland's Bravest Manufacturing Company (SBMC).
