Virginia Tech vs. Notre Dame: Virginia Tech went into Notre Dame and got the 67-59 win. Despite holding the Fighting Irish to just 32.8% shooting for the game, the Hokies couldn't get much separation on the scoreboard as they suffered their own shooting woes. Junior Kerry Blackshear Jr. scored 22 points and was one of only two Hokies to score in double figures for the game. Blackshear also grabbed 14 rebounds to record his second game in a row with a double-double. TJ Gibbs led Notre Dame in scoring with 18 points.
