Mental Wellness and Sleep - Tip #4 - Get Your Body Moving
  • 5 years ago
Mental Wellness and Sleep. Hello, I’m Mark Weisenburger, your Mental Wellness Advocate. I hope you are enjoying the series on how to improve your mental health through sleep. A consistent high quality sleep helps to reduce anger, frustration, stress, anxiety, feelings of depression, overwhelm, and burnout so you can start experiencing more happiness and joy in your life. Please leave a comment below and share with us what you have done to improve your sleep quality.

Today I want to talk about exercise. You don’t have to be an athlete to get the type of exercise that you need to improve sleep quality. Walk around the block for 30 minutes a day. Go for a relaxing swim. Play a little basketball in the driveway. The important thing is to get your body moving and your blood circulating. It will also help lower blood sugar levels as an added benefit.
