Pittsburgh vs. Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets put an end to a seven-game losing streak with a 73-65 home win over the Pitt Panthers. Georgia Tech took a big early lead thanks to a 17-0 run. Although Pitt repeatedly cut the Yellow Jacket lead to two or three points, Georgia Tech never gave up the lead. Sophomore Jose Alvarado scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Yellow Jackets and was the only Georgia Tech player to score in double figures. Senior Jared Wilson-Frame scored 19 points off the bench and hit five 3-pointers for Pittsburgh.
