REMEMBERING Kurt Donald Cobain was born on February 20, 1967. The musician was born in Aberdeen, Washington. Cobain changed music history with Nirvana. He co-founded the band in 1987 and the group later signed
with DGC Records before
releasing their hit, "Smells
Like Teen Spirit." But as the band gained widespread success,
Cobain battled with
severe depression. He was found dead on April 8, 1994, at the age of 27 after he
died by suicide. He was posthumously inducted
into the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame along with the rest of his
Nirvana bandmates in 2014. Cobain has been hailed as one of the greatest guitarists of
all time and one of the most
