Mental Wellness and Sleep - Tip #1 - Get to Bed

Mental Wellness and Sleep, I’m Mark Weisenburger your Mental Wellness Advocate.

You would think that sleep is a given. However, in our busy go, go world we feel like we can sleep when we're dead as the old saying goes. We go to bed at sporadic hours and wake up the same way. Both of which make it hard to get quality or quantity of sleep. Talk about a way to mess up your mental health.

This is my challenge for you, for one week (maybe a little longer for some) go to bed and wake up at the same time. Even on weekends. Most people will have their body clock reset in about a week time to get a full 8 hours of sleep.

As mentioned in the Mental Wellness and Sleep introduction video, you need 8 hours of sleep if possible to avoid cortisol challenges. If you missed the video here is the link. Go watch it now https://dai.ly/x72mbdz to hear my story.
