In 2009, singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez began playing with the original Sublime band members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson, under the name Sublime With Rome. Before joining the band, Ramirez was a fan of the original Sublime, which he says was the first band he ever loved, eventually inspiring him to play music.
