A man who spent three years fighting for Kurdish forces against so-called Islamic State has warned of foreign IS fighters returning to their home countries to "start networks and continue on their fights". Macer Gifford said that, in his time Syria, "the most ideologically committed, the ones that are most dangerous, are the foreign fighters", and compared them to the SS organisation of Nazi Germany. Mr Gifford said he had "very little sympathy" with the runaway schoolgirl Shamima Begum. Report by Jonesia.
