Virginia Tech vs. Pittsburgh: Virginia Tech went into Pittsburgh and was able to come out with a hard-fought 70-64 win. Junior Kerry Blackshear Jr. carried the Hokies on offense scoring 29 points to go with his 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Senior Ahmed Hill was the only other Virginia Tech player in double figures scoring 14 points. Freshman Xavier Johnson once again led the way for Pitt, scoring 18 points and dishing 5 assists.
